When I say, I am a Christian

When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting, "I am saved!"
I'm whispering, "I get lost! That's why I chose this way"

When I say, "I am a Christian" I don't speak with human pride
I'm confessing that I stumble—needing God to be my guide

When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong
I'm professing that I'm weak and pray for strength to carry on

When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success
I'm admitting that I've failed and cannot ever pay the debt

When I say, "I am a Christian" I don't think I know it all
I submit to my confusion asking humbly to be taught

When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect
My flaws are all too visible but God believes I'm worth it

When I say, "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartache, which is why I seek His name

When I say, "I am a Christian" I do not wish to judge
I have no authority...I only know I'm loved

感谢主耶稣的厚爱与恩赐！

半年下来，现在看英文版《圣经》，象NIV版、NET版、NKJV版，现在不是很吃力了，看一节经文卡壳，马上看另一版本，还不明白说什么的，现在很少了。


日常的，看报纸的话，没什么太多专业单词的新闻，象哪出车祸了，哪有人被抢了之类的能看懂；听，如果有body language，基本上可以应付；但要我开口说，会词穷，会想很长时间，有时指手划脚，鬼佬还是不明白。这不能怪我，鬼佬一向就要笨好多，是吧？

确实感受到郎中最近英文进步飞快！恭喜并加油！

最后一 句这两天感悟很深。在读陶恕写的关于耶稣的书，最深体会主耶稣的榜样在于：他憎恶罪，但是却爱罪人。 我们经常不是对罪的宽容或看不清，就是憎恶罪，也憎恶了罪人。能向主耶稣那样既充满了爱，温柔，又满有公义，真的是很难。
