, ~1 I$ [4 Q! u$ V+ T# A7 OAlso known as the Rangpur lime, this unigue fruit is grown by a local fruit collector. The flesh is bright orange inside the green skin. Used in dressing, marinades and as a colourful garnish. It look like a mandarin but tastes like a lime. The vigourous nature of the tree makes it ideal for using as a rootstock for grafting other citrus.% A$ w8 Z0 R' f0 t. C9 H" z5 D. o

This is Citrus x microcarpa, also called calamansi, calamondin or limau kasturi. Calamansi is thought to be a hybrid between the kumquat (C. japonica) and the mandarin/tangerine (C.reticulata). This is the cheapest and most common type. 2 ^' r* z" P( g& C5 F- G
